We are a four generation family of Tremblays who have been serving vehicle owners in the Burnaby and Vancouver area since 1934! The Garage was established in 1984 by Ron Tremblay, in partnership with his father Fred as the second location of Tremblay family service providers. Ron’s brother Steve shared the leadership for over a decade and today two of Ron’s fourth generation sons have proudly taken the lead in the new facility in Burnaby.

Over the years many auto shops have come and gone, but few have last built a legacy. TheGarage NAPA AutoPro was first established in 1934, serving vehicles owners in the Vancouver area and is now a thriving 4th generation auto repair shop.
The City of Burnaby
Burnaby is a growing city with a population of 230,000 and a part of the Metro Vancouver area.
Burnaby is home to the famous Swanguard stadium located in Central Park. As well as parks, Burnaby has a few very popular lakes with trails for walking; Burnaby Lake and Deer Lake, the later being a popular outdoor music venue.
Burnaby neighbours Vancouver from the East, New Westminster from the South, Coquitlam from the West and on the north side, once you cross the Ironworkers bridge on highway #1 you enter North Vancouver.
Driving in Burnaby
Like any busy city, rush hour is a nightmare. Try and avoid the office hours rush and travel on off-peak times.
Many people commute from the Tri-cities to downtown Vancouver through Burnaby, either along Kingsway ave, the Loughheed highway, or alternatively these drivers will jump off highway #1 at onto 1st ave and make their way to through North Burnaby to Vancouver that way.
Driving to Burnaby and Visiting the Garage
Burnaby is easily accessible from all directions. If you are coming along highway #1 from Hope and the Fraser Valley area you can take exit 33 onto Kensington Avenue, jumping onto Canada way and then finding Gilley Avenue.
Directions to the Garage from Coquitlam
For those coming from South Vancouver and Vancouver westside, the best route is to take 41st or 49th avenue and it nearly takes you all the way there.
Directions to the Garage from South Vancouver
If you're travelling from the Airport, or Richmond, the best way is to turn onto south marine drive and head east and turn up boundary road.

If you're travelling from New Westminster head up 12th and then onto Kingsway and turn left on Macpherson and another left on Beresford ave.

Top notch service, knowledge, and tooling. These passionate people make it their mission to keep the love of your car alive. They provide good education and great maintenance packages to keep your vehicle running strong long term. They've shown me it's more economical as well as environmentally friendly to buy what you love and keep it in good shape, which is completely the opposite of a dealership's mentality of replacing the whole car when it breaks.
